Shaun William Tait (born February 22, 1983) is a former Australian cricketer, primarily known for his express pace and aggressive bowling style. He primarily played as a right-arm fast bowler.
International Career: Tait made his debut for Australia in 2004 in a One Day International (ODI). He was a significant part of the Australian team that won the 2007 Cricket World Cup, bowling with sustained pace and accuracy. He also represented Australia in Test matches and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
Bowling Style: Tait was renowned for his raw pace, often clocking speeds exceeding 150 km/h (93 mph). His slingy action and ability to generate late swing made him a challenging bowler to face. His aggressive approach and short-pitched deliveries made him an intimidating presence on the field.
